History

Founding of well drilling boring business

December 8, 1967

This year, the weather that could be called abnormal weather such as cold waves, floods, droughts in April ~ June, short rainy season, and droughts after August continued from the beginning of the year, and especially in the Hokusatsu region, the Nagashima area, the Akune area, and the Uwaba district of Izumi City fell into a serious water shortage that requested the dispatch of water trucks of the Self-Defense Forces.

Focusing on the possibility of groundwater development by well boring, we are considered the procurement of boring equipment. Decided to introduce Yoshida Iron Works hand-feed type YH-3.

Initially, it was called Izumi Boring Industry. Kizou Omotezako as the captain.

Entry into geological survey boring

October 1969
Received an order for landslide survey boring. First geological survey.
June 1, 1971
Established Minami Nihon Boring Corporation. (capital: 1 million yen).
Tadayoshi Uto assumed the position of President and CEO. Joined the Kyushu Geological Survey Industry Association.
August 1971

Received an order from Takaono Town for a geological survey for the Euchi Junior High School swimming pool construction project. First order for geological survey from municipalities.

Received orders for three groundwater surveys from the Land Improvement Division of the Oshima Branch Office

Received three orders from the Land Improvement Division of the Oshima Branch Office for agricultural water resources development survey (Akamine area in Sumiyoshi region in China town, Nishihara area in Wadomari town in Goran region, and Kenbuku area in Isen town in Chubu region)

Received registration with the Minister of Construction 質(52)-172 due to the enforcement of the Geological Survey Contractor Registration Regulations.

Participated in the establishment of the Kagoshima Prefectural Geological Survey Association (voluntary organization).

Received registration with the Minister of Construction No. (1) 9464 based on the Surveying Law.

Entry into the National Oil Storage Base Construction Project, Establishment of a Cooperative

Geological surveys ordered by the prefecture in conjunction with the Shibushi Oil Storage Base Construction Plan that began in Showa 57 and geological surveys ordered by Shibushi Oil Storage Base Corporation were in full swing.

Ten geological survey companies in the prefecture established the Kagoshima Prefectural Geological Survey Industry Cooperative. Governor Approved.

Received the Kagoshima National Highway Construction Office Director's Award for "Kushikino Area Geological Survey".

Tadayoshi Uto assumed the position of Chairman and Tadakazu Uto assumed the position of President and CEO.
August 2022
Received an excellent contractor/excellent engineer award (geology category) from the director of the Osumi River and National Highway Office for geological survey work related to the Ushine Sakai disaster prevention project.
July 2023
Received an excellent engineer award (geology category) from the Kagoshima National Highway Office Director for geological survey work related to the Kiire disaster prevention project.

Received the Distinguished Service Award for Disaster Recovery from the Director of the Kyushu Regional Development Bureau (Operations/Geology Category) for geological survey work related to the recovery of National Route 220.
